Today is all about breath ladders with kettlebell swings. Men should use at least a 24kg bell, women should use at least a 16kg bell.
Perform 1 KB swing, put it down
Take one deep, nasal, diaphragmatic breath
2 swings
2 breaths
3 swings
3 breaths
Continue pyramiding up until your target rep range, then back down in reverse order. To get total reps, just multiply your top rep by itself. So if you go up to 10 reps, that’s 100 total swings and 100 total breaths.
This will teach you to breath properly because you have no choice, and to expel carbon dioxide efficiently. Happy training!
